What the Driver App Does
The Netcorp Driver Tablet App is a purpose-built interface that puts everything a driver needs into a single screen — job details, navigation, pre-start checklists, Electronic Work Diary, messaging and vehicle status. It replaces paper-based processes and disconnected apps with one integrated tool that keeps drivers informed, compliant and connected to the back-office throughout their shift. The app runs on ruggedised Android tablets mounted in the cab and communicates with the Netcorp platform in real time over 4G.
Key Screens & Features
The home screen shows the driver's current job, next job and shift summary at a glance. The job screen displays full delivery details with one-tap navigation to site, status updates and customer notes. The pre-start screen guides drivers through configurable checklists with mandatory photo capture for defect reporting. The EWD screen provides a fully compliant Electronic Work Diary with automatic time recording, work and rest calculations and driver declarations. The messaging screen enables two-way communication between drivers and dispatchers without the driver needing to use their personal phone.
Platform Compatibility
The Netcorp Driver App is designed for Android tablets and is optimised for the ruggedised Samsung and Lenovo devices commonly used in commercial vehicle environments. The app is deployed and managed centrally through Netcorp's device management system, ensuring every tablet in the fleet runs the latest version with the correct configuration. Offline capability ensures drivers can continue working in areas with limited cellular coverage — all data syncs automatically when connectivity is restored.
